Almost without noticing, once the most beautiful landscapes in China is fading away silently. While they are strong enough to have survived thousands of years on earth, they are so fragile in the face of earthquakes, global warming, deforestation, overgrazing as well as natural erosions. Still, for travelers, it's always better late than never to see these wonders while they are still there.
2. Taishun is in Southern part of Zhejiang Province, near the border with the Fujian province. Taishun County has more than 900 covered bridges, many of them hundreds of years old, as well as a covered bridge museum.
3. Luo Xia Gou in Yunnan Province, 250km from Kunming City. The soil contains such components as oxidized Iron, after a long period of oxidation, gradually added and mixed in the soil that produced this extra-ordinary reddish brown soil. Every inch of land are cultivated and planted to the maximum by the inhabitants, consequently causing unwanted damage to the place... erosion. How long could this magnificent phenomenon exist? We do not know.
4. Kanasi Lake the breathtaking landscape located in Burerjin County of Aletai area in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region ,It is a reservoir formed by violent movements of ancient glaciers, which is suffering from the severe global warming in recent years.
5. Nujiang River( "the angry river" ) ,or the Salween river in Sichuan Province, is about 2,815 kilometres (1,749 mi) long, that flows from the Tibetan Plateau into the Andaman Sea in Southeast Asia. Now the "angry river" is under a dual-threat from both soil erosion and a long- conceived new dam project.
6. Lugu Lake , is located between Ninglang County in Yunnan Province, 300 kilometers away from Lijiang County. It is a plateau lake with a total area of 52 square kilometers, 2685 meters above sea level. This amazing land breeds the most unique ethnic Mosuo, but the globalization and urbanization makes the sacred place a little over touristy.
7. Kaili ,is a city in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou province, China. It is the center of Miao culture, hosting more than 120 festivals every year.Kaili has a population of 50,000 and is a major producer of rice.Now this region is under threat of a series of human activities
8. Wuyuan the remains of Ancient Huizhou Culture in Jiangxi Province, once the representation of the pinnacle of ancient Chinese culture, is waving us goodbye. Wuyuan is especially famous for its architecture, seal cutting techniques and the amazing rape flower field.
9. Gannan Grassland ,Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwestern Gansu Province, was chosen as the fourth on the list of China's six most beautiful grasslands. The major scenic spots there include the Gahai Lake, the largest fresh lake on the grassland and an important wetland on eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
10 A tulou or "earthen building" , built of a composite of earth, sand, and lime known as sanhetu, it is a traditional communal residence in the Fujian province of Southern China, usually of a circular configuration surrounding a central shrine. These vernacular structures were occupied by clan groups.
